Fellows are encouraged to pursue scholarly activity that fits with their professional interests and career goals while addressing the needs of the community we serve.
In addition, each fellow will have dedicated time for research (a one month block) during their second (PGY5) and third (PGY6) years.
Also, during their outpatient and consult blocks, each fellow will have two half-days per week reserved for their research. Fellows will present the results of their research at the end of their third year to the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network during Hematology and Oncology Grand Rounds.
